If Only

If only you had the the wing

To fly away high and and sing

The melodious songs of sorrow

For tomorrow alys isn't on your brow

If only you had the power

To know all and be good lover

For love is eternal,  a strength

A guide that drives us through

If only you had the magic

To not use brain or apply logic

But life is magic in itself

So full of miracles, just believe

If only you could go back

And mend your past

Forgive, forget and forgo

For you don't know what after hello

If only you could see the future

Avoid mishap, take pause and be sure

For future is bleak, yet so sure

Death finds us all - rich and poor

If only one could admit the fact

That we are all here for time being

For this is the path we all tread along

Alone we came and alone we shall go

Courage

When life pulls down yet you don’t give up
When life’s cruel and you don’t give shit
When love betrays to take  its toil
But you fight back brave and not spoil
When your boss is wrong and you give voice
When the crowd scares and yet you face
When the doubts cloud your judgement
Yet you embrace until you are triumphant
When the fire of rage inside goes savage
Yet you calms down with water of patience
When the fear engulfs and you step back
Only to return stronger and composed
Courage is not being rude or arrogant
Courage is simplicity with persistence

When is life fair anyway?

I was wandering and wondering along the woods
Suddenly My mind crosses through the days of childhood
When each girls dreams one day of being princess
When her mom is the epitome of All she wishes
And her dad the hero, the knight in shining armour
When each boy dreams of that charming prince
When his mom portrays all qualities he would one day browse
When his dad is but a friend, a guide  by his side
When little siblings are but their goal
And the reflection of their soul
When every little hope is watered by all kinds of effort and bite
And when all the tyrannies are overcame with triumph
When finally a day comes to reckon
When the princess meets his Prince Charming
Life has cruel and disheartening plans
The boat they boarded capsizes
On their maiden journey through ups and down
Through the rugged terrains of high and low
Dreams shatters to nightmares and begins to haunt
Hopes turn sour and belittles their hunt
In anguish and agony they stare above
And utters Why us, why us?

I wish you are here with me

I wish you are here with me
Because right now everything is alright
The stars and the moon is with me
A perfect moment of relief and comfort
The little flowers are dancing with me
In the shower of joy and happiness
I gaze around to see you but afar
It hurts me to know this fact
I miss you and I think about you

Don’t you miss me sometime?
The good times, bad, sad and silly
The moments that make us as one
Engraved in the veins of heart
These gives me reason to smile
Because you are always with me
Every beat of my heart is but a buzzer
That reminds me that I ain’t alone
This gives me hope and the strength
To strive and thrive in the worst ordeals
That your absence fetches forth
I wish you are here with me

Every little thing matters
As tiny as a pinhole,
As short as the morning dew
For life is but moments
Life is so partial you know
First a hell of courage to say Hello
Then it has us separated by miles
Does it not feel guilty?
Or even a pinch of pity?
I wish you are here with me

PLEASE ANSWER ME

Tell me it’s Ok
Or it is not
Now that we met in this life
And you have disturbed my mind
Please answer me

Tell me it’s OK
To be silent sometimes
No call, no SMS, no email
Silence is golden you know
Now that you know the value
Please answer me

The sun that rises from the east
Who doesn’t know it has heat?
The stream that flows down the vale
Who knows not it’s calm and quite?
Now that we know each other

Please answer me

A STUDENT TO HIS TEACHER

Try to be a human being not just a teaching machine
Do not touch only subject, but rather teach us students
Let me feel that you are interested in me as a human being not just a number in your note book
Do not judge me by the marks I get in my test, but rather by the effort I make
Do not expect me to think of school as the greatest pleasure in life
They are not at least for me
Do not expect me to prefer the subject you teach
Other subjects may be interested to me, and perhaps even more so, at least for me
Help me to learn, to think and to judge for myself, not just memorize readymade answers
Help me rather to find the answer myself, through this way may be more painful for both of us
Listen to the questions I may seriously ask, however foolish they may sound to you
If you listen, I might learn to listen to you
Be strict with me, provided you are just. I know that I need it; through outwardly I may rebel against it
Do not ridicule me, especially not before my classmate. It hurts, and I will turn against you
Earnest but kind words in private will be more effective
Do not pity me, especially in front of others, if I do not success so well
Pity can be so embarrassing
Do not point out another student as an example to me
I might hate him….and you….for it
And if I happen to do well, don’t point me as an example to others. It would embarrass me very much. But an occasional deserved word of acknowledgement is most welcome.
Keep your personal problem and political ideas to yourself
I cannot solve to judge them anyway
Remember that once upon a time you were a student yourself
Did you always get the best marks?
And did you never forget a thing?
Please, keep studying yourself; and do not mechanically use in the class the same yellowed notes which you wrote 20 years ago
Do not expect a word of thanks too often
I am grateful; I find is difficult to express my gratitude in words
And so…. Thank you ever so much!

P.S: The poem was shared by my brother, a teacher himself when I was in XII standard; it is direct copy-paste just to share with blogger friends and as a dedication to my entire beloved teachers. The poem says it all. Happy Teachers day!

Thank You Mother Earth

Source: Google
A home for every existence
A life of unlimited you nurture
Fresh air and water, clean ambience
The bound of kindness and patience
You give, sustain and give
And never are you fatigue
Nor you restrain, rest or refuse
Yet the greedy mind you gratify
Wants more, exploits and doesn’t care

Here I stand healthy and walk with pride
With all the luxurious glories of yours
We know you can’t permanently give
For this is the law you already know
Wisely we shall use you and your wealth
And advocate the message of early signs
Which you displayed loud and clear
Today, tomorrow or the next day
We shall revive, protect and sustain

Thank you Mother Earth.....

The Pledge

Source: Google
Karma is what we can’t change
And by it are we all shaped and made
Remember the first time we met?
Mere luck wasn't how we met
And neither was it a coincidence

Causal walk and talk we made
Heartfelt gossips we shared
Even the funny jokes we crack
Keeps me warm and glued
In fact small things are what matters

In the past, now and ever after
Love I shall with all my heart
Over the time I may fail
Void I shall never create yet
 Enlighten and remind me sometime

You are but a north star
Of all the stars that prevail
United and together we shall unfurl

(The poem is to commemorate the world poetry day(21st March), which I knew from blogger friends...:)...)

The enigmatic life

Is life ruled by silent hands of chance?
Or by powerful fist of choice?
Spare a little leisure to make a glance
That unbalanced ups and downs
Gain and success being ruled by failure
Special moments blurred and spoiled by regrets
well tendered plans pressed by pressure
And hearty heart hunted by hungry hurt
yet life is so lively with only lessons
Wounds are warranted to turn wisdom
While stumbling blocks are stepping stones
Only struggles bring strength and freedom
This is but a tapestry of life
As you life a day you live the life

The bitter betrayal

It was best of days we spent together
Environment was so serene, calm and clear
Birds did chirpined their melodies song
It was all fine and nothing wrong
Presence itself was so lively and enchanting
Words of our conversation was echoing
And the days and nights were so short
For she was aside with for any sort
But when all was said and done
She bid a big farewell and left me all alone

I wasn’t aware of my big blunder
Only when her kinds words turned thunder
Warm breathing into howling storm
And tears of joy an uncontrollable deluge
All the oaths was but of only lip
And the actions were but an act of creep
Yet even if blood dry and bones crumble
I will never forget that trouble
